Mobility Program
One of the major key objectives of PHOTONICS4LIFE is advanced and specialized education and training for members of PHOTONICS4LIFE. Researchers, and especially young researchers, interested to conduct their activity in the area of Biophotonics must have a good background in several disciplines related with this broad actual range topic. Therefore, PHOTONICS4LIFE implements a specific mobility program, and allocates substantial funding to it, aimed at encouraging young researchers and PhD students to extend their knowledge by staying, for a given period, in research teams of network participants. This mobility program fosters better relationships between network researchers and increases the effectiveness of the Network.

Photonics4Life is targeting at profound training of young European PhD researchers in biophotonics by specialized training-schools in order to reach an effective, sustainable education for the future of biophotonics. Training schools on the one hand are held in cooperation with other biophotonics institutions throughout Europe, and on the other hand are specialized stand-alone P4L schools.

The start will be made with the lectures from the P4L summer school and talks and posters from the last and forthcoming P4L scientific meetings.
