The 5th P4L-Newsletter is out!
The Newsletter contains detailed information about the activities of Photonics4Life and related Biophotonic news. The recent issue introduces in detail the two core partners Imperial College London and the University of Saint Andrews as well as the Local Biophotonics Cluster in Saratov, Russia. Newsletter 5 also features articles about the Biophotonics Cluster Meeting and the intensive training on entrepreneurship in photonics, covers new technology breakthroughs and gives a tutorial about laser fabrication of 3D scaffolds for tissue engineering and much more.

19 April 2012On Wednesday Italian researchers have won the first prize in the Innovation Village Awards of the Photonics Europe, the largest conference on optical research in Europe. The group from the Biophotonics network Photonics4Life beat 16 other projects in the contest with a handy device that stops bleedings with light. [more]
