The summerschool of P4L offers a new approach towards interdisciplinary learning in Biophotonics. To foster education and communication across disciplines one half of the lecturers and the attending students at the P4L Summerschool will have a medical and one half a technological background in Biophotonics. Topics are consequently lectured by speaker tandems to shed light on the matter from both angles.
Topics
Medical Topics: Infectious Diseases, Urology, Cardiology, Neonatology, Oncology
Technical Topics: Biophotonics Raman Spectroscopy, Intra-operative light-based diagnostics, Micro Manipulation of cells, Optical Coherence Tomography
Lecturers:
| Medical | Prof. Dr. med. Michael Bauer | Clinic for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, University Hospital Jena |
| Prof. Dr. med. Bernhard Brehm | Dept. for Cardiology, Catholic Hospital Koblenz | |
| PD Dr. med. Alexander Karl | Dept. for Urology and Polyclinic, University-Hospital Munich | |
| Prof. Dr. med. Katarina Svanberg | Dept. for Oncology, Lund University Hospital | |
