Description
This year Biophotonics is one of the keynote topics on the LASER World of Photonics. For the first time there will also be a special area on the exhibition ground dedicated to Biophotonics. Simultaneously the biggest European conference on our subject, the European Conferences on Biomedical Optics (ECBO) 2009 (http://www.osa.org/meetings/topicalmeetings/ECBO/program/invitedspeaker/default.aspx) 14-18.6., ICM, part of the World of Photonic Congress accompanying the fair, organized by OSA and SPIE.
Subconferences of ECBO organized by members of Photonics4Life: "Advanced Microscopy Techniques" and "Clinical and Biomedical Spectroscopy".
Invited talks from P4L- colleagues Paul French (Imperial College, London), Niek van Hulst (ICFO, Barcelona), Francesco Pavone (Lens, Florenz), Roberto Pini (CNR-IFAC, Florenz)
Further invited speaker Nimmi Ramanujam (Duke-University, Durham).
Biophotonics on exhibition ground, Exhibition hall B1, 15-18 June
Photonics4Life will be present with a booth in Exhibition hall B1, which is ideally suited to generate a big resonance from visitors. To generate the desired awareness we will additionally invite representatives of the press and politicians to tours.
Biophotonic-Workshops, Exhibition hall B1, Wed 17 June 10:00-14:30
